With a mysterious vandal striking in the dead of night to destroy carrots, cabbages and other vegetables due to be entered in a major gardening show, it sounds like a case for Wallace and Gromit.
But while the animated duo found themselves up against a hungry were-rabbit in their last film, the green-fingered community of Torquay suspect a farm more down-to-earth explanation - a jealous rival.
