Experts say a large ruby whose £11m valuation once underpinned the finances of a failed construction company may be worth as little as £100.
The Gem of Tanzania, which weighs two kilos, was listed as the main asset of Midlands firm Wrekin Construction.
But now downgraded to the status of a mere paperweight, it is being auctioned off alongside desks, chairs and computers from the failed company.
