ALIENS invaded Birmingham to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the landmark town hall.
Actors dressed up as intergalactic visitors were among a host of performers who helped start a series of events to mark the big date.
Also in the city centre yesterday was the children’s character, the Gruffalo.
